Rav Moshe Gordon

Rav Moshe GordonR' Gordon has been a popular name in Israeli chinuch for a decade. As a major force in the educational and administrative staff in Yeshivat Ohr Yerushalayim, R' Gordon is known for his clear, comprehensive analytical shiurim, warmth, selfless devotion to talmidim, penetrating sichot, and good, solid advice.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities in Ohr Yerushalayim (including Iyun, Bekius, Halacha, and Machshava), R' Gordon served as the Campus Rav in Moshav Beit Meir. In this capacity he was responsible for many of the educational initiatives, programming, and Shabbatonim.

 While living in Beit Meir, R' Gordon assumed responsibility as  Posek Halacha for Beit Meir as well as many of the Moshavim in the Harei Yehudah region, gaining a reputation as a Rav with a very sensitive, human touch.

Prior to making Aliyah, R' Gordon served as a Rebbe in Yeshiva Torah MiTzion in Great Neck, N.Y. for three years.

Many throughout the States recognize R' Gordon from his capacity as the senior Rebbe in the NCSY Summer Kollel for the past 12 years and as Assistant Director at Camp NCSY Sports for five years.

R' Gordon is a graduate of Yeshiva College, as well as a Musmach of RIETS. While in YU, R' Gordon studied under Rav Michael Rosensweig and Rav Herschel Schachter. After receiving semicha from RIETS, R' Gordon studied in the Kollel Avreichim of Yeshiva Darchei Torah (Far Rockaway, N.Y.) under Rav Feivel Cohen, from whom he received an additional semicha.

 

Rav Shaya Greenwald

Rav Shaya GreenwaldR' Greenwald is a veritable legend in the Torah world today. In his many years of learning in YU and teaching in MTA and Morasha Kollel, he was the source of inspiration and mentor for many of the current Roshei Yeshiva in YU, High School principals, Rabbeim, Rabanim, as well as community leaders.

R' Greenwald has served as the Rebbe for the top level Shana Bet Shiur in Yeshivat Ohr Yerushalayim for 14 years, where his talmidim benefited from his breadth of knowledge, clear presentations, admirable personality, and sound guidance.

For many years, R' Greenwald has been the summer Rabbi in the Young Israel of Riverdale (substituting for Rav Mordechai Willig).

Prior to his Aliyah, R' Greenwald taught Bekius and Halacha for five years in the Mesivta of Yeshiva Shaar HaTorah (Kew Gardens, N.Y.).

R' Greenwald is a graduate of Yeshiva College, as well as a Musmach of RIETS. In YU, R' Greenwald studied under Rav Herschel Schacter and Rav Mordechai Willig. After receiving Semicha, Rabbi Greenwald entered the Kollel L'Horaah of RIETS led by HaRav Nisson Alpert zt"l, successfully completing its course of study.

 R' Greenwald was amongst the early members of the Kollel Elyon in YU. Following the Kollel Elyon, R' Greenwald learned in the Kollel of Yeshiva Shaar HaTorah, enjoying a close relationship with Rav Zelik Epstein zt"l.

 

Rav Menachem Nissel

Rabbi Nissel has been a beloved Rebbe for over twenty years in various Yeshivot and seminaries such as Ohr Somayach, Ohr Yerushalayim and Torat Shraga.
 
He is a renowned speaker and author who has inspired thousands throughout the world. His ability to bring lofty concepts down to daily life spiced with British humor make his lectures tremendously popular.
 
His articles and letters are widely published and he is the author of the highly acclaimed Rigshei Lev - Women in Tefila (Targum / Feldheim 2001) and Jerusalem Jems (Targum 2002).
 
He is a senior lecturer for "Ner LeElef - World Center for Jewish Leadership Training and Community Outreach".
 
He is the Rabbinic Resource for the National Council of Synagogue Youth (NCSY), the youth branch of the Orthodox Union.
Rabbi Nissel is a musmach of the Itri and Mishkan Hatorah Yeshivas and is a talmid of Rav Shlomo Volbe zt"l and Rav Moshe Shapiro shlit"a.
 
He has an MBA from the London Business School.
 
Rabbi Nissel will expose our students to the field of Machshava and philosophy, mesmerize the talmidim with the breadth of his knowledge as well as enable them to deepen their own personal experience of Avodas HaShem.
