Packing List
This list is meant to be used as a guide to familiarize yourselves with the kinds of clothing, equipment, and other assorted items that will make your year in yeshiva more comfortable and enjoyable.
The list is certainly not exhaustive, and the quantities of the various items are merely suggestions.
Remember that Israel, B'Chasdei HaShem, is a Modern State, and just about anything you forget to bring can be purchased here…including American imports in the local Makolet!
CLOTHING:
Talmidim are required to wear button down shirts with collars and long pants. "Naot" style shoes (with socks) are allowed, but we strongly prefer no sandals in the Beis Medrash.
**The practice of the yeshiva is to tear 'kriya' the first time that we go to the Kotel. Therefore, plan to bring an old shirt on which to tear 'kriya' on the first day.
